Very light and easy to carry. It will run a brad nailer ok for use around the home. It comes with a coiled hose and a air chuck. I put a quick coupler on it to be able to use a blow gun, brad nailer, or the air chuck. A plus is that it will work when plugged into to a 400 watt inverter connected to on my F-150's battery. Works a lot faster than the 12V compressors. If I remember correctly, Batavia, IL is in the USA, NOT China. If you like coleman products, you'll like this product. It was originally made by Powermate, now being made by Alton industries. It is also being sold in red, with the coleman name on it instead of alton. Same parts, same comressor, different name. I just opened my very similar Alton compressor I bought at "checker auto" (my bad there), and I'm terrified at the thing. Amazingly poor craftsmanship; I'm going to throw it into the trash because I wouldn't want to be responsible for selling it used to someone who might explode themselves with it. and the punchline is, I bought two of them when they were on sale, so I'll have two to throw away. The warranty is useless - no support at all unless you physically mail a 50 lb item to Illinois, which would cost more than the purchase price. Their website is a single static page, not even clickable links! check it, [...]. Buy a name brand. Don't make the mistake I did.
